Continuing on

First I waited 3 days to post and now it's 5 days.

It was a busy weekend. First, after work on Friday Liz and I had dinner with our friends Daniel and Amandalyn at Amici's restaurant in Indianapolis. We are trying to "Low-Carb it" and Italian food is a difficult choice. Liz had a dish that could be put on lettuce instead of pasta, so she was good. I on the other hand didn't want that, it didn't look good to me, so I went ahead and had a calzone with meat and cheese. I was bad.

Then Liz had auditions for Lucky Stiff that will be put on by the Apprentice Players. They were on Saturday and Sunday. I video taped the auditions so she could go back and really watch what she saw. Each audition was just short of 2 hours. There was singing, dancing and reading for each auditioneer. Overall I was happy with the results. The "kids" were in the age range of 14 to 20. Some of them actually blew me away. I had heard a few before, but they were so much improved from the last time, I was surprised.

Then on Saturday night I went to see Van Helsing with my friend Brian. It was pretty much what I expected, but there were a few twists I didn't expect. Overall I enjoyed the film. It may have been touch too long, but it was OK. Then Brian, Liz and I went out and had some Mexican food at 9:30, which is much too late for Mexican food.

Then on Sunday Liz got up and went to church. I stayed home and played City of Heroes on my PC. We then went the previously mentioned auditions. That night our friends Daniel and Amandalyn came over and we watched 2 episodes of Alias. We both got into Alias late so we are now trying to catch up on season 3. We are up to episode 6, but unfortunately they are going to be gone most of the next month, so it will be a while before more Alias is watched.

Well that's it for the weekend. Stay tuned for more.
