Listening In

Apparently I am a very good listener. When people at work have problems with supervisors or other employees, I am sought out to talk to. I don't know if I look like I am paying attention or if I actually am saying things that help, but apparently it does help. They seem to leave in a better mood.

For that I am happy. Too many people seem to be unhappy. I notice it in the car when driving. People have scowls on their faces and just look pissed at the world. I'll admit that I get upset and mad at times, but I look for something that will make me happy. Singing badly in the car, reading a book, playing with my dogs, holding Liz's hand... you name it. I try. I fail from time to time, but I only get one go around, so I better try to enjoy it.
